Community Guidelines
A good travel community depends on clear expectations. Be curious, reliable and considerate — online, in the group chat and on the road.

Respect people and boundaries
- Treat every member with dignity regardless of background or travel style.
- Respect a clear no, changed plans, personal space and communication boundaries.
- Do not pressure anyone to drink, spend, share a room or join an activity.
Plan honestly
- Describe budgets, accommodation, transport and expected pace accurately.
- Tell the group promptly about material changes and unavoidable risks.
- Do not present an unverified person, place or activity as officially approved.
- Separate personal Erasmus experience from official application advice, and link to the current university or faculty source when accuracy matters.
Protect privacy
- Keep private-trip details and invitation links within the intended group.
- Ask before posting another person's photo publicly.
- Never upload passports, identity documents, payment details or accommodation entry codes.
Meet and travel more safely
- Meet new people in public places and tell someone you trust about your plans.
- Verify important bookings independently and use reputable payment methods.
- Trust your judgment. Leave a situation that feels unsafe and contact local emergency services when immediate help is needed.
Report and block
Use the report action when content or behaviour may violate these guidelines. Reports are shared only with authorised moderators. Blocking hides that traveler's community contributions from your view; it does not replace contacting authorities where someone is in immediate danger. Any person, including someone without an account, can use the public illegal-content notice formfor a specific item they believe violates the law.
How moderation works
Reports are reviewed in context. Possible actions include no action, a warning, content removal, trip-access restriction or account suspension. Safety and privacy can require us not to disclose every detail of a moderation decision. Where content or an account is restricted, affected people receive a clear statement of reasons and a free internal review route where contact details are available.
